  • Play prestige courses in the northern suburbs including Peter Thomson or Arnold Palmer designs.
  • Shop in upmarket precincts or take a boating ride up the Coomera River past palatial waterfront properties.
  • Head across the Pacific Motorway to head west to Tamborine or head south to Runaway Bay which offers connections to South Stradbroke Island.
  • Houseboats ply the waters while the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show draws thousands.
  • Nearby Paradise Point has pleasant river or broadwater walks, picnic areas and sheltered swim areas.
  • Sovereign Island and Ephraim Estate to the south is the Gold Coast’s most prestigious address, an exclusive island community with 24 hour security.
  • There’s excellent fishing right off the beach at Paradise Point, head west for major shopping complexes.
  • Coombabah Creek is a small waterway of 17km adjacent to Coombabah Wetlands which has been identified for its significant bird species.
