Coomera, Oxenford and Helensvale are the centre of Gold Coast theme park attractions.
Once a site for sacred initiations by Aboriginal tribes, Coomera was later an important gateway for timber cutters and the horse mail run from Brisbane to Nerang.
This is the centre for a range of attractions - Warner Village Theme Parks' Wet 'n' Wild, Paradise Country and Warner Bros Movie World at Oxenford, and Dreamworld to the north.
Paradise Country's 12 hectares offers day tours - see stockmen, feed kangaroos or see sheep shearing.
Helensvale has residential areas plus shopping. Easily reach the Pacific Motorway from this area which also has a Queensland Rail station.
